In World A-1 in Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, there are two Koopa Troopas walking on two-block-wide platforms near the start of the level. By jumping into the gap with precise timing, it is possible to perform a stylish trick shown in the footage that awards a large amount of 1-Ups before the shells destroy each other.

During the story of Super Mario RPG, there is a point in Marrymore where Mario and Bowser attempt to bust open a door together. Normally, if Mario does not run at the door with the exact same timing as Bowser, Bowser will briefly cry and then attempt to ram into the door again (as seen in the beginning of the footage).

However, in the Nintendo Switch version, a glitch was introduced that was not present in the original SNES version. For some specific timing, when Mario runs at the door, Bowser will become stuck in his “running backwards” animation, as seen in the second half of the footage. This can continue indefinitely until Mario touches the middle of the door, which will cause them to finally open it.

In Super Smash Bros. Melee, if a fighter is at 999% damage and Peach attacks that fighter with a down tilt attack while underneath a ceiling, the fighter will become stuck in the ceiling for an extended period, as seen with Fox in the footage.

Depending on the specific fighter, stage and spot where this is performed, this effect can last up to 15 seconds.

In Super Mario World, P-Switches can normally not harm enemies. However, an exception is when Mario kicks the P-Switch while extremely close to a Pokey, where it will unexpectedly be able to deal damage.

Note how in the footage, the P-Switch goes through the Pokey if thrown from a normal distance, but damages it if Mario waits until the last possible moment before the Pokey touches him to throw it.
